Patent Intelligence Group is a patent consulting firm serving litigation counsel, in-house legal teams, and litigation funders. Our work centers on infringement, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions, and on the prior art and prosecution history analysis behind expert reports in district court litigation, taking the most specialized and time-intensive patent work off counsel's plate.
ABOUT
Patent Intelligence Group
Patent opinions, prior art analysis, and litigation consulting
The firm was founded by Jennifer Meredith, a registered patent attorney with 25 years of patent practice. She was a partner for more than twenty years at Meredith & Keyhani (later Meredith Attorneys), a patent prosecution and litigation firm in New York, and served as Of Counsel at a law firm with more than 200 attorneys, where she handled the firm's patent prosecution and worked with its litigation teams on file-history estoppel, disclaimer, and claim scope. She has prepared infringement, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions for Fortune 100 companies, drafted and prosecuted more than 1,000 patent applications, drafted IPR petitions, argued before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and handled ex parte reexaminations, experience that is uncommon even among patent attorneys and that underlies the firm's work on complex file histories. She holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Lafayette College and a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where she was Articles Editor of the Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal.
